Duties:

• As a part of agile team implement new features according to the requirements while adhering to the highest professional development standards

• Develop application components in Java to maintain existing and to create new services

• Solve interesting technology and usability challenge

• Practice and promote test driven development and test automation

• Practice and promote DevOps principles and methodology, CI/CD and automated DevOps pipeline

Requirements:

• Hands-on development experience using Java, J2EE, XML, SOAP and SQL

• Familiarity with message queues, event sourcing, NoSQL data stores

• Prior experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting of Java applications

• Bash, Python or Shell scripting. 

• Experience working with application servers

• Experience in the full software development lifecycle using an Agile development process

• Experience working CI, CD and DevOps practices

• Design, build, and measure complex ELT jobs to process disparate data sources and form a high integrity, high quality, clean data asset.

• Executes and provides feedback for data modeling policies, procedure, processes, and standards.

• 5+ years of experience with data analytics, data modeling, and database design .

• 3+ years of coding and scripting (Python or Java or Scala) and design experience.

• 3+ years of experience with Spark framework.

• Experience with ELT methodologies and tools.

• Expertise in tuning and troubleshooting SQL.

• Strong data integrity, analytical and multitasking skills.

• Excellent communication, problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.

• Able to work independently.

• Experience working in operations or infrastructure in a DevOps or SRE environment

• Proficiency with at least one language (Python, Ruby, Bash, Go, whatever works!)

• We work on Public and private clouds. It's more about understanding concepts and loving to automate.

• Proficiency with Linux

• Experience with logs and metrics collection and analysis

• Expertise in troubleshooting infrastructure and performance issues

• Handling of security issues, with a background in the field a plus

• Hands-on experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or current hands on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience

• Understanding of the private and public cloud platforms and providers, such as AWS, GCP, Azure and Pivotal Cloud Foundry

• Experience managing high-performance and highlyavailable production systems, including applications, storage and networks

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (firewalls, load balancers, DNS, DHCP, NAT) and various virtualization, Mainly vSphere technologies

• Experience configuring and maintaining secure, large-scale, complex, distributed applications or platforms

• Experience monitoring platform and application performance and usage

• Experience with automation scripts and CI/CD pipeline tools, including Jenkins or Concourse

• Experience with servers (Tomcat, WebLogic) and databases (Oracle, Mongo, Postgres), as well as Bosh, Chef, Puppet, Ruby, Go, Nagios, Splunk and/or Siteminder
